| Kidney Research are looking for cyclists to take part in some of our Cycling Challenges and raise essential funds for Kidney Research, some of the arranged events are:
· London to Paris Cycle taking place in June & September 2010 · Paris to Geneva Cycle also taking place during June & September 2010 · Vietnam Cycle which takes place during October 2010
Would it be possible to let your membership know that we need their help by distributing this information for them to review, I can provide a full list of our UK & overseas events in word doc format for your review, there is something for everyone of all abilities, please just drop me a line or give me a call
I would be interested in establishing if there is anything you organise that we could support or get involved in that could benefit both organisations
Thank you for taking the time to review this email, as without public support we would not exist.
Kind Regards

| Go off the Beaten Path, with Smart Community Fife.
Fife’s walkers and cyclists are sharing some of their favourite routes and pathways, thanks to Fife community website www. smartcommunityfife.org.uk, where unpublished walks and cycle tracks can be uploaded using the latest technology. This new online service was recently launched by local MP, Ming Campbell, at the start of one of the online routes in Falkland.
Fife is already a favourite destination for walkers and cyclists, thanks to the Lomond Hills Regional Park, the Fife Millennium Cycleway and the Fife Coastal Path. Now, Smart Community Fife will publish routes known previously only to local people; with the popularity of social networking, Smart Community Fife also hopes to encourage other Fife countryside-lovers to share their favourite walks and cycle journeys on-line.
Each route is accompanied by a photo and description, ready for printing and following. The maps also indicate local businesses, pubs, cafes and restaurants, all sourced from Smart Community Fife’s online data. Included are routes of varied lengths and difficulties, suited to all fitness levels, from a short hidden walk in Falkland, to a challenging, but beautiful, walk along the old drovers’ road between Auchtermuchty and Abernethy.
Peter Winterborn, Chairperson of Smart Community Fife, says: “www.smartcommunityfife.org.uk provides the latest locally-written news and events, as well as a frequently updated guide to what’s on and what to do in the area. Now we want to build on the success of the site by responding to recent survey results, requesting maps of local walking and cycling routes. Our free, easy-to-use on-line system allows site users to share favourite routes with others. We are keen for people to continue uploading their favourite routes in the future; with their help, we can keep the information on Fife routes both relevant and interesting.”
Routes can be seen and uploaded to www.smartcommunityfife.org.uk/routes |
